Professional Development Courses for Teachers of Mathematics on Instructional Uses of Technology

Teacher Link (MTL) is offering a Professional Development Program for Math Teachers on Instructional Uses of Technology, through Oakton Community College (OCC) in Des Plaines.
The Oakton site is offering the following modules on the use of technology in mathematics instruction.
Participants will attend four half-day workshops at Oakton but will work through the majority of their selected course module(s) at their own pace, through the Internet. Each participant will compose a lesson or final project to be described to their
workshop classmates at the May 4th
session.
Modules 1, 2, 4 and 7 award 3 Continuing Education
Units (CEUs) credit at a cost of $100 or 1 semester hour of graduate
credit at a cost of $175. Modules 3 and 8 award 6 CEUs credit at a cost
of $200 or 2 semester hours credit at a cost of $350.
