Macromedia's Flash MX is a web development tool
particularly adept for creating rich multimedia content. This
module is designed as an introduction to Flash MX. Emphasis is
placed on designing illustrations of mathematics. Through a series
of units, learners will acquire and demonstrate Flash techniques
for creating instructional resources. Each lesson within the units
starts with a completed illustration of a mathematical concept or
theorem. Pages within the lesson detail the construction of the
illustration. At the conclusion of the lesson, an opportunity for
elaborative rehearsal is provided.
This module is divided into the following units:
- Unit 0: Introduction
- Unit 1: Flash Basics
- Tools and Panels
- Transformations
- Layers
- Timeline
- Unit 2: Animation
- Frame by Frame
- Motion Tweens
- Shape Tweens
- Unit 3: Multimedia
Credit: 1/4 grad Unit (=1 sem. Hr.) or 3 CEUs.
