Required Materials

In addition to the general requirements for participating in Math Teacher Link, this module also has the following additional materials requirement:

• The Geometer's Sketchpad application (version 3 or higher) needs to be installed on the computer you will use.
  Go to the Geometer's Sketchpad home page of Key Curriculum Press, the makers of the software.  This page has information, resources and support for The Geometer's Sketchpad software. Follow the information and pricing link to order the current version of Geometer's Sketchpad software for either your Mac or Windows machine ($107.95 - single user). Install the program on your machine according to the instructions that come with the program

• You need to obtain a copy of Mathematics For High School Teachers by Usiskin, Peressini, Marchisotto and Stanley.
  

  This book is a very good professional development resource for high school mathematics teachers. If you do not wish to purchase it yourself, it may be available in your school library or you may ask your school librarian to order a copy. You should proceed with arrangements to obtain a copy of the book as soon as you submit your registration for this module so that you can begin your work on the module without delay when you receive your MTL Log-in and password.
