Computers and Connections -- A Sampler

This sampler of Module 12: Computers and Connections, is actually one
of the 5 lessons in Part 1 of that module. The lesson, entitled Binary
Arithmetic, describes how information of all sorts is stored and processed
in computers. Like the other lessons in this module, you will see that the
lesson presentation is highly interactive and graphical. This is because
we believe that technical information is most easily learned when it is
presented graphically, and that the best way to learn is to be actively
engaged with the subject you are learning.
If you enroll in the Computers and Connections module, you will not only learn
about how your own computer works, but also about how we are all connected
together on the Internet. Each of the two parts of this Module are
designed to take the confusion and frustration out of
living in this phenomenon we call the Information Age.
We hope that you will enjoy this sampler of Module 12, and that you will
decide to enroll in and complete the module itself.
